Rhymetime 10.30am Rhyme time is a fun and interactive session aimed at babies, toddlers and their parents or carers. It is a great way to make new friends too, All welcome!

Family History Drop in 2.30pm – Need help getting tracing your family tree? Our staff will be available to help you discover more about your family history. We will provide you with useful tools and useful assistance to discover more about your past. Free Library editions of Ancestry UK and Find My Past are available to use in the library.1st Tuesday of the month.

Wednesday

Colouring Club for Adults 10amResearch supports the health benefits of activities such as colouring-in for stress relief, relaxation, focus, creativity. You also have the opportunity to make new friends over a cup of tea!

Online basics 2.30pm Need help getting online? Have no idea how to even use a mouse or a keyboard? Come along to our friendly sessions following the 6 week ‘Learn My Way’ online basics course. Free but please call to book a place

Job Club Drop in 1pm-3pm  – Run by our friends at Communities First, come along and brush up on your employability skills, get help with your CV and also job searches. All welcome.

Connah’s Quay Heritage Room

The Heritage room houses temporary displays and tells the story of the historical industries in and around Connah’s Quay including shipbuilding, steelmaking, breweries, and Silica works. The heritage room offers a space to deliver local heritage education programmes and is part of the Heritage Trail

Flintshire Connects

Flintshire Connects brings together Flintshire County Council, North Wales Police, Job Centre Plus and other partner organisations, to deliver high quality customer focused services to the public and vulnerable individuals in our community that find it difficult to access services online or by phone.

At Flintshire Connects, you can speak to one of the trained Customer Service Advisors about a range of Council services. There is also the facility to make payments for council services.

Home Library Service

The Home Library Service is available to anyone who cannot easily visit a library due to disability or incapacity. We deliver books or talking books on a regular basis, free of charge. When they visit our friendly staff can also show you how to get online to access our wide range of eBooks and eAudio books from home. Do you know anyone who could make use of this service? We can help.

Directions

The Library is situated just off the main road B5129 Chester Road East. Opposite the Civic Hall.

From Queensferry follow the B5129 -Chester Road East

After 1.0 mile turn left on to Wepre Drive then immediately left again.

The Library entrance is on your left

Parking

Turn left past the Library entrance where there is a large car park with disabled parking bays. Charges apply.
