Exciting New Fitness Development Plans for Mold Leisure Centre planned for completion this summer
Aura Leisure and Libraries Limited, in partnership with Flintshire County Council, is delighted to announce exciting plans for the re-development and extension of the current fitness and leisure facilities at Mold Leisure Centre.
The new fitness development, planned for completion in early summer, will comprise a 44+ station fitness suite, which includes an Origin Functional Rig, 21 Technogym studio cycling bikes, two studios, new male and female changing rooms, a new fitness class programme plus 46 additional car parking spaces.
Memberships start from as little as £22 a month, and as part of the membership package, you will also get access to the other Aura leisure centres in Deeside, Buckley and Flint.
Tom Williams, Mold Leisure Centre Manager, said:
“The team at Mold Leisure Centre is immensely excited about the upcoming development.
This will enable us to expand on the services we currently provide to the community and continue to cater for customers of all ages. The addition of a second first floor studio and the expansion of the fitness suite will support the delivery of new activities for both the community and the two adjoining high schools.”
Christine Edwards, Board Chair for Aura, said:
“We are delighted with the investment into Mold Leisure Centre, in partnership with Flintshire County Council, as we continue on our journey as a new employee owned, not-for-profit organisation. This development will contribute to Aura’s purpose ‘to benefit the community by improving quality of life through the provision of culture and leisure opportunities that improve mental health and physical well-being.’ We want to increase affordable ways to keep active by growing our services in Mold so they are sustainable for the future and work closely with all our community members from an early age.”
More information on the new fitness developments, plus any membership deals prior to the launch of the new facilities will be announced on the website www.aura.wales, and on Mold Leisure Centre’s Facebook page, which can be found by searching @MoldLeisureCentre or also on Aura’s page, @walesaura
