There are lots of benefits to getting online, you can:

If you or someone you know, would like help to get online, or just need a little extra support using the internet or email, free basic support is available in all our libraries.

You do not need to have your own computer or laptop at home. As a library member, you can use one that is provided free of charge in the library.

Online Basics  Need help getting online? Have no idea how to even use a mouse or a keyboard? All our Libraries offer friendly group sessions following the 6 week ‘Learn My Way’ online basics course. Free but booking essential, contact your local library for more details

Digital Buddy  Need help to use a computer, tablet or phone to get online? Most of our Libraries have regular sessions that you can make an appointment with Digital Buddy who can offer free one to one support.

Family History Help Need help getting tracing your family tree? Our Libraries offer regular drop in sessions to help you discover more about your family history. We will provide you with useful tools and useful assistance to discover more about your past. Free Library editions of Ancestry UK and Find My Past are available to use in the library, Contact your local Library for more details

Employment skills – Most of our libraries have regular job clubs where you can brush up on your employability skills, get help with your CV and also job searches.
