Customer Notice – Aura’s management contract ending on 31 October 2024

Aura’s contract for managing leisure centres, libraries, heritage services, play areas and other community services will end on 31 October 2024.

From 1 November, these facilities and services will be managed by a Local Authority Trading Company (LATC) established by Flintshire County Council. The LATC will be wholly owned by the Council.

For customers who have booked and paid for services post-October, the Council has confirmed that the LATC will fulfil all future bookings. However, we wish to make clear that bookings made with Aura prior to 31 October will not be delivered by Aura from November onwards.

Aura wishes to say ‘thank you’ for the loyalty and support of all its customers over the past seven years.

Aura is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation owned by its employees. It will continue to exist post-October (though not delivering services) to complete the winding up process.
