Due to 32 Missed Appointments
In September alone.
We will be putting into place the following terms;
- 50% Deposit on all treatments 30 minutes or more.
(Payable upon booking)
- We will continue to take full payments for our packages.
- Any cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will not be refunded.
(Alternative dates can be offered at management discretion)

When should I arrive?
We kindly recommend that you arrive 30 minutes early if it’s your first visit to Afon Spa. This will allow time for us to complete a consultation with you and offer any refreshments. For subsequent appointments, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking.
Do you provide Bathrobe and Towel?
Afon Spa provide bathrobe and towel for you to use during your time in the spa thermal suite but we require a £5 refundable deposit. We recommend to bring a spare towel for a shower after your visit. Please bring appropriate footwear to enter The Spa Thermal Suite, alternatively Afon Spa do sell flip flops for a charge of £2. Please ensure you bring your own bathing suit to wear in The Thermal Suite.
Should I reserve my treatments?
We strongly recommend that you pre book your treatments times well in advance to avoid disappointment. All treatments are subject to availability. Credit or debit card details are required at time of booking if you book two or more treatment or spa packages. Please note that spa treatment times are subject to change and we will confirm with you if any changes are to be made with treatment times.
What if I arrive late for my appointment?
Regrettably, late arrival for your appointment will constitute a reduced treatment time. All times quoted include treatment, preparation and consultation.
All treatments are subject to availability. To avoid disappointment please make your booking as far in advance as possible. We require 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required, whereby a full refund will be given or can be rearranged for another day.
What if I have special health considerations?
Please inform us of any health related conditions prior to your arrival at the spa. If you are unsure about whether a medical condition could prevent you from having a treatment or you are currently taking prescribed medication, have an allergy or are pregnant, please call in advance to discuss suitable treatment options. Treatments are conducted subject to completion of a satisfactory health consultation form. Pregnant guests must be over 12 weeks pregnant to undertake any treatments which may be tailored to suit. Pregnant guests are unable to use The Spa Thermal Suite.
What facilities can I use if I have booked a treatment?
Use of The Spa Thermal Suite is at an extra charge £14 or £20 for two if it’s not included with any of our spa packages.
Are children allowed in the spa?
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use The Spa Thermal Suite, however we do offer teen treatments for guests between the ages of 13 – 15. Whereby they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Can I use my mobile phone in the spa?
Our aim is to provide a tranquil environment so mobile phones are prohibited from The Spa Thermal Suite and we politely request that mobile phones are turned off for the duration of treatments.
Gift and Internet Vouchers?
Any Gift or E-Voucher purchased must be redeemed within the expiry date and after this date voucher are invalid. Expired Vouchers will not be accepted and full payment will be requested on the day.
