Swimming Instructor/Coach

Main element of the role will be instructing/coaching the Masters swimming sessions

Based at Mold and Buckley Leisure Centre.

Aura are looking for a professional and friendly swimming instructor/ coach who has the passion and creativity to develop swimmers ability by creating a sociable, fun and fitness orientated master swim session. Main focus is to develop individual’s strokes, breathing techniques or booting their fitness levels.

The successful candidate will take a lead role by instructing our master sessions at Mold and Buckley Leisure centre with a review to expand at Jade Jones Pavilion (Flint). The master sessions are part of an extensive Aura fitness class programme which operate 80 classes across three leisure centres.

These posts offer you an exciting opportunity to join our library team providing a quality and consistent experience for customers. This is an essential frontline role for the library service. Are you someone who is:-

  • Able to care about customers and ensure high standards of service
  • Confident in your ability to use I.T.
  • A self-motivator who will be able to deliver innovative ideas and solutions and promote Aura Services.

The post-holder will support reader development, assisting people with their choices and enabling them to read more widely. They will promote and support cultural activities and assist the Library Services Managers in organising events and delivering activities. The role will be actively involved in the promotion and marketing of the stock and the service at a local level.

We are looking for proven experience of working in a customer service environment and the ability to work well individually but also as part of a team. An appreciation and interest in authors and knowledge of local area and facilities would be advantageous. Please note the post is subject to regular physical demands.

We are looking for proven experience of working and maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in a busy leisure centre environment, experience and knowledge of COSSH,P.P.E and a general awareness of health & safety are essential criteria for the role as would working as part of a team or as an Individual .
