Key skills of the post is to be a good communicator, enthusiastic and a problem solver. You will also need to hold at least a level 1 in swimming teachers, as the role involves delivering swimming lessons and holiday clubs to create strong links and pathways for young people to participate in activities, to encourage active, healthy and balanced lifestyles.

You should hold a Level 2 National Pool Lifeguard qualification.

This post offers you an exciting opportunity to join our library team providing a quality and consistent experience for customers. This is an essential frontline role for the library service. Are you someone who is:-

The post-holder will support reader development, assisting people with their choices and enabling them to read more widely. They will promote and support cultural activities and assist the Library Services Managers in organising events and delivering activities.

The role will be actively involved in the promotion and marketing of the stock and the service at a local level.

We are looking for proven experience of working in a customer service environment and the ability to work well as part of a team. An appreciation and interest in authors and knowledge of local area and facilities would be advantageous.
