The Aura Fitness Team have put together a list of Well-being Tips for keeping healthy and active at home!
Aura Instructor Adam recommends planning meals around Aura’s free Online Fitness Classes! He said: “I would recommend either eating breakfast at least one hour before a 10.00am Online Fitness Class, or saving breakfast until 10:30am once the morning workout is complete. For evening classes, I would suggest planning and preparing your evening meal before the 6.00pm Online Class, and eat at 6:30pm once the workout has been completed.”
Aura Instructor Alan’s top tip is to keep hydrated! He explained: “it is so important to keep hydrated and drink lots of water. There are so many benefits of drinking water, especially when exercising. We should all aim to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day! This can help to boost performance during exercise, help with weight loss, prevent kidney damage, regulate body temperature and flush away bad toxins.”
Lastly, Aura Instructor Jo’s advice is to always have a clean and tidy workout space for exercising at home and taking part in Aura’s Online Fitness Classes. She said: “It is so easy to get distracted if you are working from home or home schooling. If you are planning to do an online workout, try and get the space cleared and your gym kit and equipment ready before you start work.
It’s also easy to keep making visits to the fridge at home, so make sure you have lots of healthy snacks to choose from such as chopped carrots, cucumber, grapes or strawberries. A bit of preparation will go a long way when you pop to the fridge between work calls or trying to teach your child algebra!”
