Keeping customers connected and making every conversation count.
Aura Leisure and Libraries feel passionately about supporting the community and have launched ‘Aura Library Link – Community Calls’ (available from 20th July 2020): a new service which provides a telephone link for Flintshire residents who are lonely, socially isolated or finding it difficult to get out.
Customers can register for a call by contacting their local library and a member of the library team will then arrange a convenient time and date for the call to take place.
Paula Jones, Library Service Manager, explained: “the aim is to provide our customers with a verbal link through conversation and allow them to share their thoughts and enjoy talking with someone. Talking to the library team through the Aura Library Link will benefit their health and wellbeing and help to remove any sense of isolation and loneliness”.
Aura’s Managing Director, Mike Welch, said: “The local community is at the heart of everything we do and our main objective has, and will always be, to promote health and well-being. We want to help in any way we can and hope that the Aura Library Link Community Calls will provide support during these unprecedented times.’’
