Celebrate #WorldBookNight with Aura Libraries!

Join us on Thursday 23 April to celebrate World Book Night (and Shakespeare’s birthday, of course!) from home!

World Book Night is run by The Reading Agency, a national charity that tackles life’s big challenges through the proven power of reading.

Share the joy of reading with others this #WorldBookNight– why not call a friend and ask what they’ve been reading, or host an online book quiz! Make sure to take a photo of your book recommendations and share them with us on social media using #ReadingHour. It’s a great way to see what others are reading and join in the celebration!

Here are a couple of our top #WorldBookNight picks!

Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile: A classic murder mystery from Agatha Christie which is set to be released as a new film adaptation later this year, with Kenneth Branagh returning as Hercule Poirot. Available on eAudiobook and eBook via RBDigital and BorrowBox!

Raynor Winn’s The Salt Path: The uplifting true story of the couple who lost everything and embarked on a journey of salvation across the windswept South West coastline. Narrated by the author. Also available on eAudiobook and eBook via RBDigital and BorrowBox!

We hope that all our wonderful library members enjoy World Book Night! Although we are apart, we are always #UnitedByBooks!

Make sure to tag us @LibFlintshire in your posts as well as @WorldBookNight, @readingagency and #WorldBookNight
