This year, Aura have happily been involved with the Operation Bang scheme once again!
Operation Bang is a scheme funded and supported by the Police and aims to raise awareness of fire safety and the avoidance of anti-social behaviour between Halloween and bonfire night for children and young people. The Fire and Rescue Services also help to support the Operation Bang events.
This year, the scheme has expanded in Flintshire due to its success last year and has been held at three separate sites in Mynydd Isa, Hawarden and Saltney.
The scheme has once again been a great success with more than fifty young people attending an Operation Bang event held in Hawarden high School Sports Hall on 2nd November.
Activities facilitated by Aura included football, a panna cage and body zorbing as seen below.
PSCO Sammi who organised the event says: “all of the young people who took part had a great time” (as quoted on www.leaderlive.co.uk).
The team at Aura would like to say a big thank you to all who took part in the organisation of Operation Bang in Flintshire and to all who attended the events.
