Foundation Trainee 2018

Aura Leisure and Libraries are extremely proud of Emma winning Foundation Trainee 2018. When Emma commenced in September 2017 her enthusiasm and positivity for any task has been an inspiration. She has worked at Flint, Connah’s Quay and Mold libraries and her passion for Aura has been felt at each and every place she has worked. She has visibly raised morale within the teams resulting in her colleagues asking for her to come back as a permanent fixture!

Emma goes above and beyond. Her recent work in Mold was exceptional, she independently managed a project with schools – developing positive relationship with teachers and children alike. As a result she has been asked to present her work with the bilingual school within Aura as a model of good practice at the CILIP Cymru Conference at Aberystwyth in May.

Manager quote submitted for the application:
“Emma has been an inspiration to other colleagues in the workplace providing them with new and creative ideas.”
